Take the worry out of cruising the cobblestones
and let this pert little bunker called the
‘grooviest’ hotel in Rome get your sleeping
dramas sorted. We can put you in touch with the
main movers and get the personal touch
happening “Capisce!”.
The 3 star hotel is spread over various floors in
typical Roman style connected by a central lift.
Big on experience, but as unique as Rome itself
situated in a classic palazzo in a typical Roman
street lined with cafes and outdoor restaurants.
A refuge from the hustle and bustle of the big
city while being close to all the action, just four
blocks from the Termini.

Chase a Campari in the Yellow Bistro and feel
relaxed in the knowledge the toilets are half decent - the Italian anathema. Free internet - A/C room - Safe - Sky TV
Jimmy Hendrix wrote the classic ‘Castles made of Sand’ here. White,
bright and cheerful.  “Chambres d’Hôtes - médina d’essaouira” What a
low rate Euro 55 Double in the high season. Stay in this quaint Villa
Hotel. Gratis brekky then hit the streets

A vehicle free walled town so get your bags carted in and suck
the souk dry by staying in the heart of the medina. Murder the cheap
eats and euro beers at the best locations or get syncopated on
Moulay Hassan Square with the Gnawa Drummers.

No stress at Stresa
Two stars with 5 star hospitality at yesterday’s prices.
Stresa on Largo Maggiore has the charm of finer times so if you cannot
afford the palaces of eons past pull up a stump and settle at Albergo
Luina.
A hostelry of clean serviced rooms perched above the shopping and
victuallers area close to the action.
This is one street back from the main lakeside Corso and is a clean
machine of almost Teutonic precocity without a speck of dust to be
found.
No lake views here but the street scene makes up for any visual loss
as the cobblestone alleys provide a playground.
Superb Lombard ristorante food from the kitchen right at the front door
served with simple condiments.
Marinade in Marrakech
Come suck the Souk and live in the heart of the medina only a short stagger to the ‘Jamma’…Djemaa el Fna Square
and eat the odd sheep’s head or two.  Check out the features of this really charming and magnificent seven bedroom
Riad guesthouse with architecture typical of its origin as a Moroccan merchant’s home.
In behind the dusty walls of the streetscape….go through the giant doors and slink into the cool calm aura…..hard to
believe such an ideal setting in this silent haven …..You can enjoy and relax close to the pool.
Quality accommodation, good rates, comfortable bedrooms, breakfast provided & good traditional meals available.
Head to the open large Upstairs terrace to the Touareg tent which has a view of the Atlas Mountains or those with a
prurient interest you can peer over the kings Palace walls in the property next door.

Amore Amalfatouri
A selection of 1, 2 & 3 bedroom villa-apartmenti chiselled into the hills of Praiano all owned by the areas friendliest
hospitality family. Introduction to talk direct with the owners as you contemplate the joys of chilling out amalfactorily.
Spank the spaghetti as you pluck the herbs & fresh veges out of the villa gardens or get fresh Limon to pop into the
prosseco-campari aperitivo as the sun rises and sets on the east west views.
No need to worry about riding the razorbacks as the local bus for one Euro will pick you up at the piazza and tip you
out at the Positano junction, or swing into a passing Sita bus to give Ravello a rollicking. Pop into the Sol Bar for a
World Series hot chocolate or sit at Il Pirate and let the waves do the talking.

Cinque Terre……Flashpacker heaven
The laid back lair of Manuel the recalcitrant artist lurks above the village streets of Old Town Monterosso in his
original family home chopped into 5 rooms each with own bathrooms.
Perched above the town - yes there is 145 steps to get there - get a rousing reception from the two Roman mastiffs
chico and nuit. Better still pull up a chair on the deck for the best Trieste beer and locale cinquessential organic Red
and White Vino at only E1 per glass.
No frills no spills, this is simple stuff, but the right price to stay while walking the villages as you return to chat in the
twilight with fellow raconteurs. This is a step above the backpackers but if you ask nicely the farinata or pizza oven
will be cranked up and convivial city commences. Always heavily booked but perhaps we can squeeze a punter in by
getting in touch directly. Allow for the Ligurian narcolepsy.

Coral Cove - try Nth Queensland for a change.
Head from Bundy to the Beach - Studio unit sleeps 4 at the right price - a kitchenette and spa plus a big pool.
Beat yourself up on Australia’s longest hole with a par 6 over 635m - or slip into a coldy at the quirky Clubhouse.
Bring a rod ‘n reel to fish, go for a dive, or savour the home of Bundaberg Rum on the busmans tour of the distillery.
Montefalco …….The Village on the top of Umbria
Jump the walls and taste the best olio from surrounding
olive groves or sample Montefalco Rossi & Sagrantino
wine.
Try an Espresso at Café Corso, hear Trattoria ‘Il
Versiere’ hubble bubble toil n trouble, try a tipple in the
‘Drunken Snail’, maybe a festivale. Something is
always happening - no time to be bored here.
Where to stay:
1. Alongside the walls in a 2 bedroom upstairs
apartmenti or a one bedroom spacious number directly
below with cocks crowing the sounds of rural activity.
2. The Agritourismo luxury Villa with 3 bedrooms, a
pool, herb garden and rural views a few minutes from
the Montefalco walls. This is a special place. But wait
there is more…
3. How about a restored monastery. Bring all the relatives to have the ultimate Italian reunion amongst a happening
traditional Italian cheese making farm.
Be warned… Montefalco sneaks into cranial cavities and takes over thought processes
Bevagna
Down the hill - 10 kms from Montefalco.
The buildings in this village from the middle ages give off a medi-evil aura resembling a set for the Decameron of
Boccaccio. This is an Italian town so go here for the real deal without tourist overload.
Choice of Two modern reforged apartmenti...
Try a one bedroom studio unit with own washing machine, top notch kitchenette.
Modern living area and separate bathroom.
Need more space give the bigger one a whirl ?
San Agostino with 2 double bedrooms, a terrazzo and good living area situated near the main piazza in the historic
centre.
Red hot kitchen and gas top stove to sear the market produce into submission but relax the local café scene is at the
front door.
